ANKO Sells Food Processing Machines To Nilgiris to Expand Food Fusiness in India

Nilgiris contacted ANKO, a Taiwanese bakery equipment supplier who's been designing and fabricating puff pastry machines for more than 40 Years. After shipping a food ingredient container to Taiwan, a team of each food's manager arrived in Taiwan to discuss the details. Nilgiris required every food on their menu, pizza, samosa, puff pastry, paratha, to be the finest authentic Indian food made by every bakery equipment. ANKO’s R&D team spent plentiful time designing a V shape dough puller samosa making machine that is capable of making 0.3mm thick skin. The relentless hard work convinced the managers from Nilgiris that ANKO’s food processing equipment is designed to taste handmade and even better.

With the fast growth of the business, Nilgiris expanded the plant for purchased food processing equipment. With ANKO’s more than 40 Years of bakery machine experience, ANKO was able to design and implement an effective production line to meet various foods' production requirements, including samosas, puff pastries, paratha, pizzas, cookies, etc.

Started in 1905, Nilgiris is a hundred year-old restaurant with more than 200 franchises in Bangalore, India. Nilgiris sells plenty of food at the restaurant from breakfast to dinner including samosa, phratha, pizza, chapati, cookie and puff pastry. It is an Indian-oriented restaurant that is always full of people, and the outstanding business permitted them to open 7-8 franchises every week with fast growth. Years ago, the low labor cost allowed Nilgiris to hire a large number of staff making all of the food by hand. However, due to the fast growth of business and inconsistency of food quality, in 2005, on Nilgiris’ 100th birthday, Nilgiris decided to expand the plant and bring in food processing equipment in order to enforce food quality.
