There are many various names of samosa in different countries. smosa, samosa, самса, самса, somsa, sambusak (سمبوسك), samsa, sanbusa and chamuça also mean the same product-samosa.
The first word concerning samosa was originated from the Persian – sanbosag . An historian named Abolfazl Beyhaqi wrote it in history in 10th centuries. An ancient Arab cookery books refer to it in 10th-13th centuries. The samosa was enjoyed by Indian nobles in 14th centuries.
